The Art of Nature

With the support of his Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan The Ruler’s representative in the Western Region

In partnership with Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi

Hosted in the verdant setting of Umm Al Emarat Park, this exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi and celebrates the Emirate’s natural abundance. Featuring 40 artworks by Emirati and UAE-based practitioners, encounter diverse environments and reflect on the exceptional species and habitats unique to the UAE. Younger visitors to the exhibition can explore the country’s animal, marine, land and plant life in a dedicated workshop room full of fascinating facts about the UAE environment. As well as exhibiting their own drawings they can come and enjoy eco-storytelling sessions. The exhibition will be accompanied by a broad educational programme, allowing aspiring artists of all ages to engage with the nation’s flora, fauna and landscapes. Accompanied by an education programme, children’s area, guided tours, cinema space and a limited-edition publication.

This landmark exhibition is part of the 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi Festival which runs throughout the month of March. From music to theatre, literature to visual arts, this year’s Festival continues to spread its arms across the UAE and the world supporting and presenting new productions, concerts and exhibitions.
