Heavily based on archives, found material and the stories of of the protagonists of a Saddam Hussein Gymnasium that was designed by Le Corbusier, Plan for Greater Baghdad looks into monuments' posterity and in utilising plans for Baghdad as an expression of power. The new edition, Plan (fem.) for Greater Baghdad, reproduces this history by tracing some of the women's interventions in these plans. The time and elements of my training in architecture after the Gulf War saw these movements transit in Amman, differentiating the times they lived in from the times we inherited.
