Salvador Dali: The Memories
Salvador Dali: The Memories is the first solo exhibition of the enigmatic Spanish genius Salvador Dali in the region. Exhibition displays 160 original photographs, lithographs and paintings from worldwide private collections. The star of the exhibition is rare oil on canvas painting A Shower of Jasmine (1954) that was exhibited only twice: first time in 1954 in New York at Carstairs Gallery, second time in 1998 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at National Museum. Since, the painting has been kept in private collection.
Photographs of the Spanish Master taken by his close friend Robert Descharnes show the Spanish Icon, painter and visionary intimately working with his tools in the process of making what is now the most acknowledged art in the world.
Besides the painting, photographs and lithographs, exhibition reveals storytelling interactive wall that can take the visitors back to the time of the master.
