An exhibition of the latest works by Egyptian and UAE-based contemporary artist Ahmed Kassim, curated by Ehab El Labban. Kassim’s work combines ficitional characters within landscapes, aiming to capture the social, political, ideological and cultural chaos in the rich and structured history of the Middle East.
Gallery Ward aims to continuously present and promote contemporary art and design from around the world through curated exhibitions and projects, as essential agents in shaping the art scene in the Arab World and the dialogue surrounding it. Founded in Cairo in 2010, Gallery Ward aims to provide a focus on the contemporary Egyptian art scene by introducing and showcasing works by some of the most dynamic Egyptian artists living and working in Egypt and abroad today.
